GTA 6 release date and time

Rockstar lists Grand Theft Auto VI for November 19, 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The official preorder announcement says digital players can preload beginning November 12. Rockstar has not stated a universal hour when the game unlocks; check the official store page for the launch timing that applies to your region and edition.

Rockstar's announcement calls November 19 the release date, but it does not promise a midnight local-time unlock. Preorder availability at midnight local time is a separate announcement detail and should not be treated as the game's release hour.
